Recipient of numerous awards, Eula Biss is an American essayist who teaches non-fiction writing at Northwestern University. Her second book, Notes from No Man’s Land, won the National Book Critics Circle Award for criticism in 2009. She garnered further acclaim in 2014 with On Immunity. She is a founding editor of Essay Press.
