It’s been a busy summer of reading on the couch, reading at the lake, and reading on planes and boats, BUT I think I can say that all the hard, hard work was worth it: I completed my #NWBookBingo blackout! (Although there have been some lineup changes along the way. Just because I was trying to complete my card doesn’t mean I don’t still honor the 50-page rule.)
If you want to play, it’s still not too late — entries are accepted through Sept. 8, so you’ve got all of Labor Day weekend to read feverishly. Prizes include bookstore gift cards and an entire season’s worth of tickets to Seattle Arts and Lectures events! Here’s the Book Bingo playing card to download and there’s a whole series of blog posts with book suggestions on the Seattle Public Library blog.

Of all the books you read for this (except Cryptonomicon), which was your favorite?
That’s a lot of books. Cryptonomicon by itself is a summer’s worth of reading! 🙂
I’m still working on Cryptonomicon – I had to take a break for some 2 week library books – but I like it, so perhaps will give Seveneves a try! Books weren’t invented yet when I was born, so I wouldn’t have been able to do that category.
