Bookish Baking: Hot Chocolate Cookies

Even though I love baking, I didn’t do any holiday baking this year, because there just wasn’t time! Now that the season of festivity is over, though, I’ve got a quiet afternoon to bake up a batch of hot chocolate cookies. My recipe is based on the Swiss Miss recipe (although I double the chocolate chips, because why not) and yes, the classy secret ingredient is hot chocolate mix packets. I’m not even done pawing through the Halloween clearance candy and it’s already almost Thanksgiving!
