Feeling Bookish?

As you may already know, I'm on Goodreads, although more for the book-tracking part of it than the social media part. I mean, you're welcome to friend me or whatever, but I don't spend a lot of time writing reviews, leaving comments, or chatting with others about their account activity; I know a lot of people do, it's just not what I like to use it for. Happy Holidays!

Whew, everyone! We made it through the holidays. (Well, New Year's isn't over yet, but at least that one doesn't involve shopping for presents or a stomach-stretching feast.) I'm pleased to say that we managed to construct our Tio Nadal in time for Xmas, and he's even acquired a pair of sunglasses in the past couple of days, so I guess he's now a Cool Log. As far as cute, low-maintenance pets go, it's hard to beat a log with a jolly face painted on. Holiday truce notwithstanding, I got a pretty big haul of presents under the tree... but [...]

Season’s Reading

The holiday season is underway and I'm pleased to report that we've acquired both a Christmas poop log and a little red blanket to keep it warm. If it doesn't chew the furniture and only poops out candy, we may keep it around all year long as our new pet! This is WAY better than a fuzzy red stocking, trust me.
