Have you heard of Booktoberfest? New this year, it’s the Seattle Public Library’s month-long celebration of books and beer. While I personally prefer a nice hard cider, Seattle does love its microbrews, and Booktoberfest includes classes on home brewing, beer-themed book lists, trivia nights at local pubs, and happy hours where book lovers can mingle and talk books. It’s been a busy summer of reading on the couch, reading at the lake, and reading on planes and boats, BUT I think I can say that all the hard, hard work was worth it: I completed my #NWBookBingo blackout!
