Drink Up! It’s Booktoberfest at the Seattle Public Library

Have you heard of Booktoberfest? New this year, it’s the Seattle Public Library’s month-long celebration of books and beer. While I personally prefer a nice hard cider, Seattle does love its microbrews, and Booktoberfest includes classes on home brewing, beer-themed book lists, trivia nights at local pubs, and happy hours where book lovers can mingle and talk books. All About Emma Donoghue’s Room Movie

One of fall 2015’s most anticipated movies is Room, based on the psychological suspense novel by Emma Donoghue. We loved the book and can’t wait to see how the Room movie adaptation turns out. #NWBookBingo Update: I Got a Blackout!

It’s been a busy summer of reading on the couch, reading at the lake, and reading on planes and boats, BUT I think I can say that all the hard, hard work was worth it: I completed my #NWBookBingo blackout!
