Stephenie Meyer is the author of the massively popular Young Adult Twilight series of novels, the first of which was

published in 2005. The three sequels, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, saw her vampire and werewolf filled teen angst romance action thrillers skyrocket to the tops of bestseller lists around the world. The saga was made into a series of movies as well.
Meyer grew up in Arizona, attended Brigham Young University and now lives back in Arizona with her husband and their three children. Prior to the publication of Twilight, Meyer was not a published author. A devout Mormon, Meyer has said that classic literature, contemporary rock music and her faith are all inspirations for her writing.
