Acclaimed Author Dies at Age 91 I've never been a big fan of science fiction novels.  Ray Bradbury would have considered me a perfect reader of his work - he never liked to consider himself a science fiction writer.  The rest of the world certainly did, but however you chose to classify him, Bradbury was a prolific and influential figure in the literary world for over 6 decades.
